Personal Statement
In my 8th grade year at Rise, I feel like I have achieved many goals I wanted to achieve in the beginning of the year. This year, I completed many of the projects and classroom assignments I was assigned to. One of the things I am happy proud about is my OTCU grade. Out of 7 goals, I have 6 with the minimum being 5. Although I couldn't reached 7, I feel like I tried. As long as I tried, it is better than doing nothing as if expecting what to happen.
In college, I know it will be harder and I will have to work harder than before and my 8th grade year is a stepping stone for me to build up to whats going to come. Doing my work and doing well brings me a better and brighter future. I learned to manage my time, not to procrastinate, and to try with effort even if it may not be the best. My achievements in 8th grade helps me in college and in the future.
I feel that I deserve to promote to high school because throughout the year, I believe I shown growth in my working habits as well as many other skills that came out of working. My OTCU shows that I am able to promote and eligible to go to the next year. The minimum is 5 goals but I have done a little better and did 6. I always strive to do better even if sometimes I can't do it. I learned a lot in 8th grade and now I am growing more in general and getting ready for next big stone which is high school.
