Egg Baby 7LS2d
1. Rewrite the standard in your own words. How does this assignment relate to the standard?
Make prediction of what features my offspring would have by giving information about my partner. This assignment relates to the standard because I created a sort of graph called a "punnet square."The punnet square what traits my offspring would have depending on my partner's traits and mine.
2. What are the steps you took to complete and do well on this assignment?
The steps I took to do well on this assignment was to look at my partner's traits first. Without knowing my partner's traits, there is no way I would have been able to find out my offspring's traits. Then, I created a punnet square for my offspring's eyes, ears, chin, dimples, freckles, etc. Finally, I drew a picture of what my baby would look like according to the punnet square.
3. This assignment demonstrates the following strengths…
This assignment demonstrates that I am able to find traits and figure out what an offspring's traits would be using a punnet square. This also shows my knowledge of the egg baby.
4. I could have improved on my assignment by...
I could have improved on the organization because I thought that my punnet squares were all over the place. Another thing I could have worked on was the facial traits. It looked like I was sort of drawing the same thing on every box.
5. How will you apply the skills you learned from this assignment in either the real world when you are an adult or in other classes while you are still a student?
I will apply these skills when I want to determine a baby's traits. I can use this knowledge for the world and help people the best I can. I also learned that learning these skills are steps for me to learn something greater because I believe that there are infinite information that we haven't even discover yet.
